Ven. Hui Yong was discharged from VA hospital today. His blood pressure and heart rate has been stabilized and doctor has ordered Medical boots, clutches and wheel chair home with him to help his broken ankle. Thanks to EDG members for your emails, phone calls and visiting at the hospital. And a big thank to Aster for taking care of Venerable all those time.
Ven. Jian Dan has been invited to Hawaii University for a speech on second week of March. He will do a dry run of his speech to EDG members on Sunday March 1st. Speech title “Meditation on Encounter Dialogues: At the Core of the Chan Tradition “. His lecture is very lively and captivating. Hope to see you this Sunday!
Ven. Dian Dan renounced from mundane life to become an ordained Buddhist monk in 1995. He completed the graduate training at the Buddhist Institute in Taiwan In 1999. He is now the Director and Buddhism Lecturer of Awakening Mind Chan Center. He seeks practical, progressive, and down-to-earth approaches to Buddhism.
